RC CUP WORLD FINAL: Ready to Race in Jerez

World Superbikes plays host to KTM RC Cup riders in Jerez this weekend

  • World Superbikes plays host to KTM RC Cup riders in Jerez this weekend
  • 30 riders representing 11 nationalities
  • KTM Customer Racing offers career-progressing prize fund

The KTM RC Cup World Final will see the 30 best KTM RC 390 riders from across the world representing eleven different nationalities this weekend (October 20-22) in Jerez, Spain.

Supporting the penultimate World Superbike championship round, the junior riders - often balancing school work with their passion for racing - have earned their place through months of hard work, dedication and determination. The RC Cup World Final takes the top placed racers from the eight different RC Cup series and provides them with a high-profile chance to prove their skills in an ultimate battle of talent, speed and discipline in front of a global audience.

With the premise of KTM RC Cup racing being the provision of competitive platform for young riders to grow and show their talent, the top scoring World Final riders will be rewarded by KTM Customer Racing after the two 11-lap races with support packages in order to help take their career to the next level.

First prize for the overall winner of this ambitious event will be a “Ready to Race” KTM RC 390 in Supersport 300 specification to further develop the most talented rider in a national SSP300 championship, including one wild card rider at an international race, according to international SSP 300 regulations. Second and third placed rider will be invited to an exclusive KTM Customer Racing test session KTM RC 390 machine in SSP300 specification.

Already today, all participants of the international RC CUP WORLD FINALS are true racers and brand ambassadors. Soon the red lights will be switched off and the race is on to bring the global RC CUP program to the next level – and to crown the best RC riders in 2017.
